My old family photos tell stories

Old family photographs are a treasured part of any family history. Many of them, unfortunately, do not come neatly labeled on the back with names, dates, people or places. The photographs have a story to tell...

Just sharing some of my really old family photographs! I hope you enjoy them!

My daddy

History begins at home. I love old photos. Perhaps it's because they give us a glimpse of what people thought was interesting or important at the time they were taken. As soon as I step into someone else’s house, I start sniffing for them.

Aunties

I spend a lot of free time doing family history research. If you have old photos, don't leave them in shoe boxes. Scan them!
